Events at REC Retreats are customized and carefully tailored to meet your specific needs. Plan on spending the weekend, offer a one-day event, or design a daytime/overnight hybrid event of your own. 

Overnight Retreats...

...include participant & property insurance, taxes, cleaning fee, access to entire home & studio, off-street parking, linens and basic toiletries, 24/7 coffee/tea service, meal arrangements, minutia-management and on-site hosting by Kjerstin for the duration of the retreat.

REC Retreats really is "more than just a venue". Customize your event: your fee includes an initial retreat-planning consultation with Kjerstin, focused promotion, support during the planning stages as well as during the retreat. 

Delicious, healthy meals are provided at REC Retreats. You give your stamp of approval to the menu, and Kjerstin will make all of the arrangements - you don't do a thing!  Participants enjoy dining at the picturesque, historic Beach Store Café once during their stay. 

Starting at $750 per 24 hours period (or portion thereof)
plus $50/person/night (minimum 5 guests, maximum 8-10 overnight guests)

Daytime Workshops and Events...

...include participant & property insurance, taxes, cleaning fee, access to first floor & studio, off-street parking, coffee/tea service, meal arrangements, minutia-management and on-site hosting by Kjerstin for the duration of the event.

A delicious, healthy lunch is provided, using seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible.

Starting at $500 (9 am - 5 pm or portion thereof)
up to 20 daytime participants

Non-refundable deposit: $250
No hourly minimum

Meals and snacks are deliberately planned and "matched" to each event. The exceptional food is part of the magic, so menus are varied and interesting, with high-quality, seasonal ingredients. Special diet requests are welcome (please contact REC Retreats with the specifics.)

Consider offering a "Sundowner" (happy hour) to your guests as part of their experience. Prices vary.

Community Contribution

Every REC Event "gives back" to the community. REC Retreats gives a little something, and as part of the event fee, participants are asked to bring something as well. Money, materials or labors-of-love are donated to non-profit organizations on Lummi Island or in neighboring communities such as the Lummi Nation, Ferndale or Bellingham. As a retreat leader, you will get to choose what will be donated and to whom.

Is this your first time offering a retreat? Your initial retreat consultation is included, and will cover a lot of ground, but if you would like a little additional support, retreat consulting is available on an as-needed basis for $75/hour.

Cancellation Policy

Once you make your deposit, REC Retreats gets right to work, saving the dates especially for you, kicking off promotion, and contacting subcontractors. For this reason, an event deposit is non-refundable.
