Leave your pencils at home - this is not a seminar! This weekend retreat will give you time and emotional "space" to restore yourself as you get away from the daily grind. Let go of "the old" and allow something new to emerge. 

During this experiential retreat ... Learn how to get in touch with your body’s knowledge through inner-sensing. Practice yoga postures. Experience archetypal concepts. Discover alchemy in your life journey. Ground yourself in the medicine of the Five Elements (fire, water, wood, metal, earth). Craft a nature journal and use journaling for self-discovery. Explore the mind/body from a mythological perspective. Utilize acupressure and essential oils. 

Earn 18 contact hours for this event. A certificate will be awarded at completion of the weekend.

Bridget Boylan, PT-LAc, EAMP, will guide participants on an exploration of their inner landscapes. 

Participants will create "nature journals" using found beach items, and Mitzi Szereto will use these journals to help participants understand the creative writing process.

Georgette Jowdy demonstrates the gentle, yet powerful art of storytelling, weaving the Five Elements throughout her shared stories.

Kandy Hughes is certified in both Kundalini Yoga and Yin Yoga. Students will experience multiple yoga sessions with this talented instructor throughout the weekend.

About Bridget

Bridget Boylan graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Physical Therapy and from the Wu Hsing Tao School of Five Element Acupuncture with a license to practice acupuncture. She has studied myofascial release, alchemical acupuncture and aromatherapy. Bridget combines Alternative and Western medicine to provide holistic treatments with her clients in Bellingham and Everett, Washington.

Kandy Hughes is certified in both Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) and Yin Yoga. She teaches group classes and private yoga classes several times a week in the south sound.
